http://larryferlazzo.edublogs.org/

Rating by Heather Streb:
2-Very Good

Description of site and its purpose:
Larry Ferlazzo teaches beginner, intermediate, and advanced English Language Learners at Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, California. In addition to writing this blog he maintains a website, and writes regularly for the "In Practice" blog. This blog is updated frequently. It is well organized and contains hundreds of cool links, websites, and activities that all teachers can utilize to enhance student learning. Although the name of the blog alludes to the fact that these resources are specifically for English Language Learners, do not be mistaken. One example of the many wonderful resources provided within this blog is the website, Supalogo. I generated the rating scale through the Supalogo website; however, when I tried to import images onto this page the image would not appear. There are no directions on the homepage of this site as to how to transfer the images generated on their site to another page. This could be a great resource for students, and teachers alike, to quickly use when creating web content, once they understand how to utilize the images generated.

Evaluation of its Utility:
Again this blog is updated frequently. It is very informative and provides many links to wonderful resources for educators. I have bookmarked this blog and intend to utilize the many websites and activities that Larry provides to his readers frequently this upcoming year.

POLITICAL SPEECH
Ladies and gentlemen, on this dizzy occasion, it is a privilege to address such a/an funny-looking group of cameras. I can tell from your smiling sandwiches that you will support my ordinary program in the coming election. I promise that, if elected, there will be a tooth brush in every zoo and two horses in every garage. I want to warn you against my prickly opponent, Mr. John. This man is nothing but a repulsive verse. He has a shaggy character and is working lollipop in glove with the criminal element. If elected, I promise to eliminate vice. I will keep the oxen in the public till. I promise you substantial government, grotesque taxes, and old schools.
